Hello, I'm Mat.
My passion for drawing began back in my school days in Scunthorpe, in a Craft, Design and Technology class where among other things I enjoyed designing and making a two-legged drawing desk and a designer storage box for my PG Tips card collection. This eventually led me to an art foundation course and a degree in Graphic Communication in Northampton where I specialised in illustration. For the next 13 years I worked as a designer at The Open University in Milton Keynes.
In 2016 I graduated from Cambridge School of Art with an MA in Children's Book Illustration. During my time on the course I developed and illustrated 4 of my own stories - SPECTACULAR, The Loneliest Boy IN THE WORLD, C is for Catastrophe and A Day Out in London.
